Augusta Boys And Girls Club For Teens 5K Presented By O&P Glass This Saturday

The Augusta Boys and Girls Club for teens does great work in the Augusta area, and here's a chance to help them out.

They will be holding a 5k fun run on Saturday, September 10, on the Kennebec Rail Trail starting at Capital Park.

Proceeds from this year’s race will help fund their year round programming for the teens of the Augusta area.  This includes field trips, programming supplies, and training opportunities to help the young men and women of our area become our next generation of leaders for our community and state. They are teaming with the Super Run team this year!  All runners will receive a super hero cape, and are encouraged to run as their favorite superhero.  Prizes for best costumes will be awarded.

The Overall winner will receive a pair of round trip tickets from Augusta to Boston from Cape Air.
